In the Throne game, Studies have an important role in military and economic development. They are conducted in a special administrative building called the Academy.
Standard Studies
Standard Studies in the Academy can be conducted for resources and time, or instantly for Gold.
They are available in the following categories:
- Economic
- Military
- Espionage
- Training
- Assailants
- Hero
- Tier I–V warriors
- Tier VI warriors
- Tier VII warriors
- Inquisitors
To conduct certain standard Studies, you will need Grants.
Studies in the “Foreign expertise” tab
These Studies are unlocked at certain levels of the Academy and are divided into two stages. Each stage has its own categories of Studies.
Studies in the “Foreign expertise” tab have their own peculiarity. When you conduct a Study in one category of any stage, the cost of Studies in other categories of the same stage increases by one level. Please consider this when planning your future development.
You can conduct Studies in the “Foreign expertise” tab for time and Trophies of Arms, or instantly for Gold. To receive Trophies of Arms, destroy:
- Foreign troops in the Order Citadel while the Championship is active
- Rebels in Rebels’ Towers
- Enemy troops from other Kingdoms
First stage Studies
To unlock first stage Studies, upgrade the Academy to level 31. These Studies are divided into the following categories:
- Attacking
- Defending
- Castles I
Second stage Studies
These are unlocked by upgrading the Academy to level 36, and are divided into the following categories:
- Offense
- Defense
- Health
- Tier VIII Warriors
- Towns
- Castles II
To conduct two standard Studies, two Studies in the “Foreign expertise” tab, or one standard and one Foreign expertise Study simultaneously, activate the Hire Scholar item.
